Nothing as large as your rollers, my experience is limited to grinding small rubber rollers (up to 1" diameter) on a lathe. I freeze the rollers overnight in a deep freezer and grind while still frozen. I find this gives better finish and better dimensional control. The little bit of frost that accumulates on the surface seems to help as well.
