Tmarch, the EZ boardwalk sharpener looks just like the Linn Lumber sharpener. Does it do the gullet as well? I know some of these types do not and then you are leaving cracks. Mine does grind the gullet, takes a little set up to do it though. I'm getting good blade life so happy with it.

The EZ boardwalk saw was never set at an angle to help with easier feeding through the log. His theory was that with the blade at a slight angle, and with most lost being cut off close to square, that the blade did not have to enter the entire butt of the log at once.
